Bucket are gonna be the boys to beat in 2003.
They were formed in July 2002 by Matt Smith (guitar, vocals) and Chris Darby (bass, vocals) with the intention of becoming one of the most exciting punk acts in East Anglia. Nick Francis (drums) was added to the complete the trio in September 2002 after a tiring search for a suitable drummer.
They didn't play together untill there fist gig on Febuary 13th (how crazys that).
With inspirations being mainly bands such as blink-182, NOFX, Finch, Capdown and Goldfinger their sound is catchy and distinguishable from other bands in the area.
On the 16th/17th of August, the band go in to The Mill Studios in order to record
their up and coming EP which will be entitled 'the fat end of eighty.' So once they
have recorded this make sure you pop along to their website at BucketUK.20m.com
and make sure you purchase yourself a copy as i am sure that the EP will be great.
This band prdie themselves on their live sets as they are a band that is jam packed
full of energy and when they play gigs, give it everythin that they've got. So
far they have played three gigs and every one sounds like it has been totally amazing with
all of the crowd enjoying themselves and just basically getting lost in the bands
music. They can get everyone moshing at their gigs, even if the people are not
normally in to the style of music as they have much talent for what they do and
pull it off with great flare. If you ever get a chance to go and see this band live, make sure you do
as they are well worth your hard earned cash and make sure you buy them beers as
well!
