Funeral For A friend are a five piece band that consist of:

Kris Roberts - Guitar
Gareth Davies - Bass
Darren Smith - Guitar
Matt Davies - Vocals
They take the emotional drive and melodic heart of emo, the gut driven power of rock
and the hardworking ethics of hardcore. They are as intense a band you could wish for
Also, although their is a muscular aggression in their sound, their true strength lies
in their dedication to the art of writing songs. Like Jimmy Eat World, and Hundred Reasons,
FFAF are fuelled by emotion and a desire to captivate through the power of their music.
The expressive voice of Matt Davies soars over the layered and complex interplay of the
band, creating an entity which boasts a beating heart. They are signed to Mighty Atom Records
and the band release their debut ep on August 26th 2002. It is a four track cd and
offers an impressive introduction into the world of FFAF.
