STUNTFACE
This is the story so far.........

STUNTFACE as it now stands is the result of a series of happy accidents. Firstly the four of us have been friends for at least fifteen years and regulars on the local punk/ hardcore and thrash scenes.Anyone who remembers the old Wrexham Memo Club shows between 1988/1992, hosting bands such as AGNOSTIC FRONT to NAPALM DEATH to MORBID ANGEL etc. will know. Nick and I were in local punkers "MR POTATO HEAD" and "THE SURF JERKS", Jim was in old school punk band "RATARSED" and Ian was in the precursory band that went on to become" HECATE ENTHRONED" (for those who know their black metal!) I am well into motocross, bmx, mountain biking and a little skating!(I think it's impossible!) After seeing videos like MUDCOWS , the CRUSTY series and the PANTERA videos, I was inspired to have a crack at film-making. I wanted it to be a cross between the videos mentioned above and more mad stuff like PRITCHARD V'S DAIGNTON or maybe a homemade JACKASS with a bit of riding/skating in it. With access to video gear and loads of idiots ready to die for the cause, all that we needed was the music. Nick and I decided it would be easier to do it ourselves so I called on Ian and Jim to play guitar and help with writing and recording on Nick's eight track, as well as using our existing band's demos. We started writing and after about two months we had a few songs, but in the meantime our main bands had split up, so the logical decision was to take what we already had and make it a "proper" band.. We decided to call said band STUNTFACE. Did the first gig in November 2000, here it is. Hope you like it!!!!

Ifluenced by the likes of NOFX, BAD RELIGION, MISFITS, MOTORHEAD, ELECTRIC FRANKENSTEIN and a little bit of the WILDHEARTS, all put through the rock 'n' roll grinder ( not the mincer! ), combining the melodicness of the Californian punk scene and the speed and aggression of the New York scene with a healthy dose of British thrown in for good measure.

Currently making tentative plans for a second album to be released on INFRABLACK RECS, its current working title being " THE INCREDIBLE UNSTOPPABLE, TITAN OF TERROR!!" but in the meantime you can get the debut album "CAN YOUR PUNY BODY SURVIVE?" out on INFRABLACK RECORDS now.
